Embark on an extraordinary 16-day journey through West Africa, exploring the cultural treasures of Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. From the historic slave castles of Ghana and the spiritual heart of Vodun in Ouidah to the stilt village of Ganvié, the colorful streets of Lomé, and the dynamic energy of Lagos, this immersive adventure offers a unique blend of history, culture, nature, and authentic local experiences.
Day 1-6: Explore the highlights of Ghana, with visits to Makola Market, Cape Coast and Elmina Castles, Kakum National Park, and the Ancestral Slave River. Discover Accra’s iconic landmarks and unwind with leisure activities and relaxation at Aqua Safari Resort. This immersive experience combines culture, history, nature, & relaxation, offering a memorable introduction to Ghana.
Day 7-8: Explore Lomé’s cultural and historical landmarks, including the Independence Monument, the National Museum of Togo, and Château Viale. Discover local life on Kpalime city tour, and relax along the coast at Marcelo Beach Club.
Day 9: Travel to Ouidah to explore the Door of No Return and the Sacred Forest of Kpassè, learning about the city’s deep spiritual and historical significance. In the evening, relax and enjoy a seaside experience at Casa del Papa, where you also spend the night.
Day 10: Explore Cotonou with visits to the Python Temple, Zinsou Foundation Museum, and local art and craft markets. Enjoy a boat ride to Ganvié Village, the “Venice of Africa,” and see the Amazon Statue. End the day with an overnight stay at Hotel Dulac.
Day 11: Discover Porto-Novo with visits to the Amazon Statue, graffiti wall, Royal Palace of Honmè, First Divinity of Porto-Novo, and the Black River of Adjarra. Return to Cotonou in the evening for overnight stay at Hotel Dulac.
Day 12-15: Arrive in Lagos for a cultural and modern city experience. Visit the Badagry Slave Trade Museum and the First Storey Building in Nigeria, explore the Lekki Conservation Centre, Nike Art Gallery, Craft Market, National Museum of Lagos, Freedom Park, Illusion Museum, and John Randle Centre. Enjoy activities like wall climbing, the Upside Down House, and Lagos nightlife.

Day 16: Resting and transfer from your hotel to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your West African journey.
