Wasini Island Excursion
This is a full day trip to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park which is found off the Kenyan Coast about 50km south of Diani, near the Tanzania border.
Wasini Island is a serene paradise off Kenya’s coast, known for its stunning coral reefs, crystal-clear waters, and rich marine life.
Perfect for snorkeling, dolphin watching, and immersing in local culture, it offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature's beauty.
Our driver guide will pick you up from our hotel at around 7.30 am and proceed towards Wasini Island along Mombasa – Lunga Lunga highway which is about 100 km to arrive around 8:40 am.
Upon arrival at Shimoni Jetty you will board an Arabic Dhow and sail to Kisite Marine Park where you can snorkel and swim. If you are lucky enough you can swim with the dolphins.
Kisite is the best and most accessible Marine Park in Kenya which also has a fantastic variety of fishes and coral. Snorkelers have also been lucky enough to see whales and whale sharks.
After snorkelling, you head back to Wasini Island for a late lunch. This will truly be a meal to remember, with white wine and beer. After lunch you have time to relax over tea, coffee and patisseries! Arrive back at Shimoni jetty at around 4.00pm and be driven back to your accommodation.
