Rhinos & the Mighty Murchison Falls Your adventure begins with an early morning drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest protected area. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track rhinos on foot — a thrilling and humbling conservation experience. Continue your scenic journey north, passing small towns, lush countryside, and smiling faces. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon.
Game Drive & Nile River Cruise Wake to birdsong and venture out for a morning game drive across Murchison’s sweeping savannahs. Look for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, leopards, and antelope moving gracefully through the golden light. After lunch, enjoy a boat safari along the Nile River where . hippos snort beside your boat, and crocodiles bask on the banks. Finally you arrive where Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge to the base of the Falls — a thunderous spectacle you’ll never forget.
Scenic Drive to Kibale National Park After breakfast, embark on a journey to western Uganda, where rolling hills meet emerald forests. This scenic route weaves through lively trading towns, tea plantations, and crater lakes, revealing Uganda’s quieter rhythms. Arrive in Fort Portal, a picturesque town framed by the Rwenzori Mountains, before continuing to Kibale National Park, home to the highest concentration of primates in Africa.
Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk This morning, step into the rainforest with expert rangers to track wild chimpanzees. When you find the chimps, you’ll watch them play, groom, and communicate — a deeply human encounter in the wild. Return to Entebbe & DepartureAfter breakfast, begin your scenic journey back to Entebbe.
