During this trip 8D/7n, you will see the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, famous for its dramatic limestone formations and unique biodiversity. You will visit Kirindy Reserve, where you can observe lemurs and, if lucky, spot a fossa, one of Madagascar’s top predators. You will enjoy the magical sunset and sunrise at the Avenue of the Baobabs, one of the most iconic landscapes of the country. Along the way, you will discover traditional Malagasy villages, local craftsmanship, and cross the Belo sur Tsiribihina River by ferry, adding an authentic adventure touch to your trip.
Day 1: Home > Antananarivo
Arrival at Ivato Airport. Welcoming at the airport with our representative. Transfer to your hotel situated near of the airport. We suggest you to get a good rest before taking a long drive tomorrow.

Day 2: Antananarivo > Miandrivazo
Early breakfast. We head south. Rice fields and typical villages of the Highlands represent the landscape. Passing in Ambatolampy where is the work of aluminum to make cooking pot for the whole country. From Antsirabe, we will take the National Road 34 to reach Miandrivazo, said to be the hottest place in Madagascar.

Day 3: Miandrivazo > Morondava > Kirindy
Drive to Kirindy. Kirindy Forest is renowned for being the only place in the world where FOSA (Cryptoprocta ferox), the largest carnivore in Madagascar, can be observed in its natural habitat. Nocturnal visit of the reserve.

Day 4: Kirindy > Bekopaka
Breakfast, visit of the reserve before going to Bekopaka. The track to the Tsingy of Bemaraha is uncomfortable but it’s the one road to reach this park. It makes the trip adventurous. We first get to Tsimafana where we cross the Belo sur Tsiribihina river by ferry. In the end of the afternoon, arrival at Bekopaka.

Day 5: Day visit of Tsingy of Bemaraha
Start off the day with a visit to the Tsingy de Bemaraha, a spectacular mineral forest listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ‘tsingy’ limestone peaks are one of the most impressive landscapes in Madagascar, an intricate network of rifts, crevasses, and limestone blocks carved into sharp needles.

Day 6: Bekopaka>Morondava
Drive to Morondava. We cross again the Belo sur Tsiribihina River. At the end of afternoon, we arrive to the Alley of Baobab. We are there at the right time, the sun is low, raking light, smooth trunks reflect the orange rays of the sun. It’s an ideal moment to take photography of the sunset.

Day 7: Morondava > Antananarivo
