Get outdoors for an adventurous refreshing walk along the mountainside path to our famous Lighthouse Dona Amélia. The incredible views and refreshing air, make this the most rewarding walk you will take on the Island.
Get picked up from your accommodation for a scenic drive to São Pedro where we will begin our hike.
Arrive to the beautiful stretched out beach of São Pedro and Saint Andre - Enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and have a quick stretch before beginning our ascent to the Lighthouse.
Stunning! Located on the West Coast of the Island, the walk to Farol de Dona Améila will bring you along the mountainside man made path with magnificent views of São Pedro & Santo André Beach and the Fishing Village in action!
Return to your accommodation after a fantastic day exploring. Thank you for choosing at your local guide.
Please bring decent footwear, a hat, sunscreen and bottle of water, snack (optional). Activity for travelers over 6 years old, use your discretion.
The tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation in Mindelo. Please note that we will be walking on a road made along the mountain edge, not for those afraid of heights.
