Arrive in Tanzania Welcome to Tanzania! You’ll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your Arusha lodge. Relax after your flight and enjoy dinner with views of Mount Meru. Overnight in Arusha.
After an early breakfast, you drive into Tarangire National Park, one of Africa’s most beautiful and underrated landscapes. The land stretches wide with ancient baobabs and golden grasslands, creating a dreamlike scene. Tarangire is also home to vast elephant herds.
Depart early through the Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping at the Olduvai Gorge, the famous “Cradle of Mankind.” Continue to Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti, where the wildebeest herds gather during calving season. Spend the afternoon on your first Ndutu game drive.
Today is dedicated to discovering the southern Serengeti. With packed lunches, you spend the day exploring regions known for wildlife concentrations and predator action.
Follow the movements of the Great Migration (location may shift seasonally), watch cheetahs scanning the grasslands, and track lions as they rest atop kopjes. Every moment in the Serengeti feels alive and unpredictable. Expect to see lions, cheetahs, and perhaps even a hunt unfolding before your eyes.
Enjoy a morning drive through the heart of the migration, then head back toward Ndutu. The open plains make this region ideal for photographers and wildlife lovers alike.
This morning, you descend into one of the most extraordinary wildlife sanctuaries on Earth—the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The moment your vehicle reaches the crater floor, you’re surrounded by a breathtaking world of wildlife. Lions bask in the grasslands, buffalo graze lazily, flamingos line the soda lake, and with luck, you may spot a rare black rhino. Your packed lunch is enjoyed at a hippo pool, where the scenery never stops moving.
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for lunch and a bit of relaxation before transferring to JRO for your flight home — carrying unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s southern plains.
