Start Point:

Sossusvlei, Namibia

Day 1: Pick-up in Windhoek, lunch stop at Solitaire, check-in near Sesriem, visit Sesriem Canyon, sunset at Elim Dune.

Overnight at lodge.

Dune 45 Sossusvlei, Namibia

Day 2: Sunrise at Dune 45, explore Dead Vlei, Big Mama and Big Daddy dunes, packed lunch to-go, return to Windhoek.

Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen , comfortable walking shoes, and cash for the 4x4 shuttle to Dead Vlei ∼$25 USD pp.

Lightweight, breathable clothing. Mornings and evenings in the desert are cold. Sand gets hot midday

Transport is a 14-seater Quantum on tar/gravel roads. 4x4 shuttle is used for the last 5km to Dead Vlei. Departure from Windhoek is at 6:00 AM. Tour is not suitable for guests with severe mobility issues due to sand and dune climbing.
