Big 5 Wildlife Safari & Waterfalls
Enjoy an up-close experience of the world's strongest waterfalls and view the Big 5 in Murchison Falls National Park.
You will also visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which is the only place with white rhinos in Uganda.
Spend time in a typical Luo homestead and learn about the ways of life of the Jonam people in Pakwach.
Day 1: Pick up from your accommodation in or around Kampala City. Set off from Kampala by 7 AM for a 3-hour 15-minute drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Day 1: First stop is at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will trek to see the only white rhinos in Uganda. We spend about 1 hr and 30 minutes here before departing for the next activity.
Day 1: Top of the falls viewpoint. This is a raised view and offers an up-close experience to the roaring falls. The views here are magnificent.
Day 1: Check into your accommodation. Rest, relax, and reminisce on the memories you have created throughout the day.
Day 2: An early morning game drive in the park lasting roughly 3 hours. Breakfast is served at the hotel after the game drive, or you can request it to be packed and enjoy it during the game drive.
Day 2: In the afternoon, you will launch on a boat to get an up-close experience of the bottom part of the waterfalls. This offers more wildlife viewing opportunities and birding. This is roughly a 2-hour experience.
Day 3: Check out of the accommodation after breakfast and head to a Luo homestead where you will learn how to cook various local meals, their way of life, and get to interact with the local people of this village.
After having lunch with them, we set off for Kampala from Pakwach.
You will most likely get wet at the top of the falls viewpoint, so carry a change of clothes.
