Baganda Culture Village Experience
Get immersed in the Baganda culture for a day. The Baganda occupy the central part of Uganda in the Buganda Kingdom. Spend a day in a village where you'll experience and learn about their way of life, like traditional dances, traditional wear, local foods and drinks, gardening, local way of fetching water, local games, and so much more.
Be picked up from a meeting point and driven to the village in Naggalama, Mukono. Spend the whole day actively participating in the activities, have a local food lunch, and learn from the elderly aunts and uncles.
Get immersed in the culture. The activity is child-friendly and suitable for groups. It includes transportation back to your drop-off point.
The trip starts with a pick-up from your accommodation in Kampala City or around the city.
We set off for the village, which is approximately a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive.
You are welcomed with the traditional dances of the Baganda people and a welcome snack.
After this, you get a briefing before the activities start. Everything is going to be done in this village, including the tour of the village, local well, fishing pond, garden tour, games, cooking lessons, and so many other activities.
After the experience, we set off for Kampala City back to your accommodation.
The experience has come to an end, and you have amazing memories and knowledge to share with your friends and family about the way of life of the Baganda people from the Buganda Kingdom.
