8-day Botswana Wildlife Safari: Moremi, Chobe & Makgadikgadi
Upon arrival, guests will be met at the airport and transferred to their lodge for a smooth start to the safari. After a warm welcome, there will be a brief orientation covering the 8-day itinerary, key activities, and what to expect in the days ahead. This ensures guests are well prepared and relaxed as they begin their journey through Botswana’s iconic safari destinations.
Moremi Game Reserve is a unique Game reserve in Africa because it was established by the tribal people of Maun. The architect of the idea was the wife of the Chief it was established in 1962 before Botswana got its independence. It also encompasses part of the Okavango Delta.
Explore the wildlife-rich Khwai area, known for its high concentration of predators and diverse game. Enjoy open-vehicle safaris through riverine forests and floodplains, offering close-range encounters with elephants, lions, leopards, and abundant birdlife.
Discover the dramatic landscapes of Savuti, famous for its powerful elephant herds and big-cat sightings. Game drives take you across open savannahs and ancient river channels, delivering raw and thrilling safari experiences. Savuti is adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve.
Experience Chobe National Park, home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations. Enjoy game drives and riverfront wildlife viewing, where animals gather along the Chobe River, offering exceptional photography opportunities.
Venture into the vast Makgadikgadi salt pans, one of the world’s largest and most striking landscapes. This unique ecosystem offers wide-open scenery, desert-adapted wildlife, and unforgettable sunsets that contrast beautifully with Botswana’s lush safari regions.
Travelers are encouraged to book the campsite at least 6 months in advance.
