3 Days Tours From Fes To Marrakech
Embark on a 3-day journey from Fes to Marrakech and experience the magic of the Sahara Desert. Ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes, witness breathtaking sunsets and sunrises over the desert, and enjoy a traditional dinner with music around the campfire. Day 1: From Fes - Midelt - Azrou - Ziz Valley - Merzouga:
Today you travel with Merzouga Desert, through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Midelt. We continue to Rich, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. We continue to Merzouga, from where we’ll ride the camels to spend the night in desert in Berber nomad tents.
Day 2: From Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades - Ouarzazate:
After watching the sunrise in desert, we ride camels back to Merzouga, have breakfast and take shower in the hotel, before we start our journey to Ouarzazate. On the way we will visit the Berber villages, also visit Todra gorges, Dades Gorges, valley of Roses, and Skoura. We will arrive to Ouarzazate in evening.
Day 3: From Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Tizi -n- Tichka - Marrakech:
Today we will visit UNESCO protected site of Ait Ben Haddou, a most impressive Kasbah and well- preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here such as the Gladiator. We will pass through Atlas Mountains, the highest road pass in Morocco Tizi N Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrive to Marrakech in evening.
Essentials to Pack:
Light clothing (for daytime heat), Warm layers (nights in the desert can get very cold, even in summer), Comfortable walking shoes (or sandals + light boots for camel rides / sand walks), Scarf or turban (cheche) to protect from sun and sand, Sunglasses + hat/cap for sun protection, Sunscreen + lip balm (the sun is strong and air is dry), Reusable water bottle, Headlamp or flashlight (for night in desert camp), Power bank (electricity may be limited in camps)
