Day 1: AKWAABA TO ACCRA (ARRIVED)/AFRICAN METROPOLIS

Arrive in Accra, Ghana. You will be met at the airport by Osumanu Tours representatives who will assist you with your transfer from the airport to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink at the hotel and participate in an orientation session.

Day 2: ACCRA CITY TOUR

Today we will explore the best of Accra. Our city tour will take us to famous landmarks like the :  Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Museum, Independence Square, and the W.E.B DuBois Center. We will learn the history of this beautiful country and its relationship with famous Pan- Africanists. Visit Accra Art Center for local Drumming Lessons and we continue to Makola market. After our tour, we'll head back to hotel.

Day 3: ABURI BOTANICAL GENDERS via Asemena waterfall - Okere District in Eastern Region.

After Breakfast we head to Asemena waterfall - Okere District in Eastern Region. We will head outside of Accra to the Eastern Region to experience some of the most scenic parts of this beautiful country.

Day 4: NAMING CEREMONY /ASSIN MANSO

Traditional Naming Ceremony at the Assin Manso Slave Centre.

Day 5: CAPE COAST ANCESTRAL CONNECTION /CAPE COAST CASTLE

After your morning breakfast, we'll celebrate with a transformative visit to Cape Coast and Elmina Castle where we will walk through the 'Door Of No Return' and along the same path as our ancestors did during their last moments on the coast of West Africa. We continue to Kakum Rainforest Park.

DAY 6: COOKING LIKE A LOCAL

Today is a completely free day to Cook Ghanaian local Dishes. We hit up the markets and buy local Ingredients for Cooking Class.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE 

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and say goodbye to your new found friends as you return to Home. You will have a day-room to relax before you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
