Enjoy lunch by the sea, trying local food like Red Red or Banku with grilled tilapia. Next, check out the busy Takoradi Market Circle, the old Fort St. Anthony in Axim, and chill at Ankobra Beach Resort. Then, head to Kwame Nkrumah's birthplace in Nkroful and the cool village of Nzulezo on stilts, reached by boat through mangroves. It ends with a hike and high walkway in Kakum National Park's rainforest, then back to Accra. It's a mix of history, nature, and relaxing beaches.

Day 1: Accra to Cape Coast, Elmina & Takoradi

Your driver picks you up from your Accra hotel and drives west through green countryside. First, visit Cape Coast Castle: a guide shows you the dungeons and courtyards while explaining Ghana’s history and the slave trade.

Next, head to nearby Elmina Castle, one of the oldest European buildings in West Africa, and learn its role in trade and slavery. Afterward, continue to Takoradi and check into Alliance by Eagles.

Day 2: Takoradi & Axim

After breakfast at Alliance by Eagles, visit Takoradi’s Market Circle, a busy place with lots of shops. Then, drive to Axim, a coastal town with a historic fort and beaches. See Fort St. Anthony and learn about its past, and enjoy the ocean views. Eat lunch at a local spot, trying grilled tilapia with banku.

In the afternoon, go to Ankobra Beach Resort, a calm place by the sea. Check in, relax on the beach, or enjoy the peaceful vibe.

Day 3 - Nkroful & Nzulezo

After breakfast at Ankobra Beach Resort, drive to Nkroful to visit Kwame Nkrumah’s birthplace, Ghana’s first president. See the memorial and learn about his role in Ghana’s freedom. Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Next, visit Nzulezo, a village built on water. Take a canoe through mangroves to reach it, and walk on wooden paths while your guide shares its story. Return to Ankobra Beach Resort to relax by the ocean

Kakum National Park, Ghana

Day 4 - Axim - Kakum National Park - Accra

After breakfast at Ankobra Beach Resort, drive to Kakum National Park. Take a short hike in the rainforest and walk across the canopy walkway, seeing the forest from high up. Learn about the park’s animals and plants from your guide. Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, then drive back to Accra, passing through the Central Region’s scenery.
