Morning depart from Dar Es Salaam for Selous Game Reserve you will have a short break for a hot lunch in kibiti. The journey to Selous will take about 5 to 6 hours. Arrive for afternoon boat safari along the mighty Great Rufiji River. Boat safari brings you into close contact with hippo, crocodile and fantastic birdlife. Animals make their way to the river to drink and the boat may approach elephants, waterbucks and other on the river banks.

After breakfast in the morning enjoy a full day game drive by a modified safari vehicle with a professional guide. Great animals sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species including the now rare African hunting dog. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far off mountains.
Today will be ‘departure day An early morning tea or coffee will be served at the lodge before breakfast and heading out, Start the day earlier on a game walk. Accompanied by an experienced guide and an armed ranger, walk out into Africa’s largest wilderness, learn about the complex eco-system that it embraces. Return to lodge for a splendid breakfast after breakfast we depart for Dar Es Salaam, your guide will drop you at the hotel of your choice or at the airport.
