Addis Ababa – Dire Dawa – Harar
Fly early morning from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa with Ethiopian Airlines. Upon arrival, drive to Harar with an optional stop at the famous Aweday chat market, the largest in Ethiopia. Continue to the historic walled city of Harar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former home of the French poet Arthur Rimbaud. Harar City Exploration
After breakfast, explore the vibrant Islamic market and visit the historic house of Ras Mekonnen, father of Emperor Haile Selassie. Continue to the Harari and National museums to learn about the region’s history and culture. In the afternoon, optional excursion to Argoba village, known as the “Stone Village” for its unique traditional houses. In the evening, experience the famous Hyena Man ritual outside the city walls.

Harar – Dire Dawa – Addis Ababa
Drive back to Dire Dawa and enjoy a short city tour before transferring to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, enjoy optional souvenir shopping. In the evening, farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant with cultural music and dance performances representing different ethnic groups.
