AFROFUTURE is a cultural festival designed to elevate and highlight the thriving millennial talent from and beyond Africa. African creatives, music artists, and fashion enthusiasts are showcased during the festival. The rising appeal of African art, cuisine, Afro-beats music, and business acumen to patrons outside of Africa has kept this festival alive since its inception.
The tour also includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where in the fourteenth century Elmina Castle and the sixteenth century Cape Coast Castle became some of the most important stops of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Elmina Castle is home to the infamous “Door of No Return”, a powerful symbol of Africa’s enduring history and resilience.
27TH DECEMBER, 2026 (Day 1) AKWAABA TO ACCRA (ARRIVAL)/AFRICAN METROPOLIS
Arrive in Accra, Ghana. You will be met at the airport by our representatives who will assist with your transfer from the airport to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink at the hotel and participate in an orientation session.

28TH DECEMBER, 2026 (Day 2) ACCRA CITY TOUR AND AFROFUTURE NIGHT
Today, we will explore the best of Accra. Our city tour will take us to famous landmarks like the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Museum, Independence Square, and the W.E.B DuBois Center. We will learn the history of this beautiful country and its relationship with famous Pan-Africanists. Visit Accra Art Center for local Drumming Lessons.

29TH DECEMBER, 2026 (Day 3) COOKING LIKE A LOCAL AND AFROFUTURE NIGHT
Today is a free day to learn and cook Ghanaian local dishes. Visit the markets to buy fresh local ingredients for the cooking class. In the evening, attend the Afrofuture Festival.

30TH DECEMBER, 2026 (Day 4) ABURI BOTANICAL GENDERS
After breakfast, head to the Eastern Region to explore some of Ghana’s most scenic spots. Visit the Asemena Waterfall in Okere District and the Aburi Botanical Gardens before returning.

31ST DECEMBER, 2026 (Day 5) POLO BEACH/ACCRA - LABADI BEACH
On New Year’s morning, after a night of celebration, gather at the beautiful Labadi Beach to welcome 2022 with reflection, gratitude, and love. Experience a symbolic rebirth in the waters of the Gulf of Guinea and enjoy a delectable beachfront lunch after a few emotionally engaging days in West Africa.

1ST JANUARY, 2027 (Day 6) : NAMING CEREMONY IN ACCRA
Traditional Naming Ceremony at Assin Manso and we will visit the Assin Manso Slaver River site
2ND JANUARY, 2027 (Day 7): CAPE COAST ANCESTRAL CONNECTION / CAPE COAST CASTLE
Road Trip to Cape Coast: After breakfast, embark on a transformative visit to Cape Coast and Elmina Castle, walking through the “Door of No Return” along the path of our ancestors. Continue to Kakum Rainforest Park before returning.
