  • 05:30 AM - 06:00 AM: Safari guide picks up guests from their accommodations in Maun in an open 4x4 vehicle safari vehicle.

  • 06:00 AM - 09:30 AM: Transfer to Mokoro station the journey envolves a roughly 3 hour drive (approximately 100km) to a designated mokoro station, such as the Boro or Ditshiping station.

  • 10:00 AM -10:30 AM: Safety briefing and departure upon arrival, guests meet their local "poler" (a guide from the local community trust) for a safety brief and introduction to the traditional dugout canoe (mokoro).

  • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Guests glide through narrow, reed-lined channels and floodplains. This quite mode of transport allows for close photography of birds, water lilies, and elephants and water's edge.

  • 12:00 PM: Picnic lunch on a Delta island, the mokoro docks at a shaded picnic lunch is served. Guests can enjoy the tranquility and 360 degree views of the surrounding wetlands.

  • 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM: Guided nature walk with a professional guide, "bush walk" on the island. This will allow guests to track large game on foot, learn about local plant uses, and observe smaller creatures often missed during vehicle drives.

  • 2:00 PM - 03:00 PM: Guests return to the mokoro station for a final pole back to the station, continuing to spot wildlife and enjoy the afternoon light.
