Arrival in Antananarivo: Seamless Start to Your Madagascar Journey Upon arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private driver-guide. Start with a hotel breakfast before exploring Andasibe National Park to spot day-active lemurs: Diademed Sifaka, indri indri known as the largest living lemur,with its Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur, and Eastern Grey Bamboo Lemur. Visit Vakona Reserve for close encounters, stroll through Andasibe Village, then enjoy a nocturnal walk in Mitsinjo Reserve. Overnight at Lemur’s Lodge or Longoza Lodge.
Morning: Drive from Andasibe to Antsirabe through the central highlands, passing hills, rice terraces, and traditional villages. Midday: Stop in Behenjy for a tasty foie gras–inspired lunch. After breakfast in Antsirabe, drive toward Miandrivazo, watching the landscape shift from cool highlands and rice terraces to the drier western plains. Stop in small villages to see brick-making and zebu farming. Arrive in Miandrivazo by midday for lunch. Afternoon at leisure—visit the market or walk along the Tsiribihina River. Morning: After breakfast in Miandrivazo, begin your full day of canoeing on the calm Tsiribihina River. Drift between baobabs and lush riverbanks, enjoying wildlife such as lemurs and birds, and passing remote villages along the way. Take refreshing breaks at natural pools or waterfalls. After breakfast at camp, continue canoeing deeper into Madagascar’s wild interior. Enjoy rich birdlife, lemurs, bats, and encounters with traditional Vezo and Sakalava fishing villages. Watch for Nile crocodiles along the sandy banks. As evening arrives, set up camp by the river, share stories over dinner, and fall asleep to the sounds of the wilderness. After your final breakfast on the river, disembark at Tsarahotana village, marking the end of your river safari. From here, travel by 4WD vehicle or motorboat to Belo-sur-Tsiribihina, enjoying the scenic countryside along the way. Lunch Stop: Pause for a traditional Malagasy lunch in Belo, a lively riverside town where you can relax and recharge.

Explore the Grand Tsingy of Andamozavaky, crossing its iconic hanging bridge and navigating breathtaking limestone formations. After this adventurous circuit, continue to the Small Tsingy in the late afternoon for shorter walks, viewpoints, and narrow canyons that showcase the unique beauty of the Bemaraha landscape
Morning: Scenic Drive South Depart early for Morondava, traveling through open savannahs and rural villages. Meet your drivers and guide at your hotel, then take a traditional dugout canoe to explore the mangroves and visit the fishing village of Betania. A fresh seafood picnic lunch will be arranged for you, and you may enjoy swimming in the warm, calm waters of the Mozambique Channel. Return to Morondava and, if you wish, visit the Avenue of the Baobabs again for another stunning sunset. Head back to Morondava and settle into your hotel.
Transfer to Morondava airport according to your flight schedule and fly to Tana. After about an hour, arrive in Tana, meet your driver, and continue straight to Andasibe. En route, stop at the Peyrieras reptile reserve to observe vibrant chameleons and other unique species. Continue driving to Andasibe for a late arrival, then settle into your hotel.
After breakfast, you will be met at your hotel for your final day in Madagascar. Before heading to the airport, enjoy a short visit to one of Antananarivo’s artisan markets, where you can browse and purchase local handicrafts and souvenirs—a perfect opportunity to bring home a piece of Malagasy culture.
After shopping, you’ll be transferred to Ivato International Airport for your departure flight.
