8 Days Masai Mara And Ndutu Wildebeest Migrations: (december To March)
Starting with Masai Mara National game reserve, the wildlife, culture and landscapes warm you up for an experience in Lake Manyara, which supports one of the highest biomass of densities of large mammals in the world, giving you a solid reason to visit the site. Ngorongoro crater offers a splendid blue-green view. As amazing as it looks, maybe the real magic happens when you get down inside and drive among wildlife. The last destination being ndutu conservation area your experience gets better as you are in one of the greatest wildlife-watching destinations on south.
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai mara national reserve:
Pick up from your hotel in the morning at 7.30 am and head west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve for lunch at your tented camp followed by afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Drive experience:
After breakfast a full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wild life to be found in Kenya, lunch is served in the park at the Mara river, the boarder of Kenya and Tanzania and the scene for yearly wildebeest migration
Day 3: Masaai Mara - Nairobi.
An early morning game drive before breakfast followed by late breakfast and a departure to Nairobi stopping sporadically for the breathtaking panoramic views of the rift valley and adjacent landforms. The kenya adventure tour ends in Nairobi late in the afternoon for an overnight at a budget hotel on full board.
Day 4: Nairobi to Arusha town:
Pick up from your hotels in Nairobi at 9:00 am for an early drive to Arusha with a stopover at the Namanga border post for immigration formalities, arrive in Arusha around 1pm check in at your lodge and having the lunch after there you can have an option for Explore Arusha town by walking around. Dinner and overnight at pazuri inn in Arusha.
Day 5: Arusha to Ndutu Area:
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Ndutu, covering a distance of 260 km. While in transit, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands and make a stop at a spectacular Crater viewpoint. Afterward, you will continue your safari to the southern Serengeti endless plains where you can witness groups of wildebeest grazing. On this day, you also have the option to visit a Maasai Boma for a cultural exchange experience.
DAY 6: NDUTU FULL DAY GAME DRIVE.
Get up early for breakfast and embark on the highly fulfilling morning game drives in the Ndutu area. Witness the stunning African sunrise while most animals are active. Then, enjoy a full-day game drive in the southern Serengeti plains, increasing your chances of spotting herds of the great Wildebeest migration grazing. Be prepared to witness predator-prey interactions. After the game drives observing the wildebeest migration, return to Ang'ata Migration Camp
DAY 7: Ndutu to ngorongoro via Olduvai gorge.
Experience a morning game drive in the Serengeti's Ndutu Area, making the most of your final encounters with the wildebeest migration herds. Continue with a game drive until lunchtime, then enjoy a delicious meal before beginning your transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. DAY 8: Ngorongoro crater to Arusha:
Following breakfast, embark on an early descent around 6:30 AM into the Ngorongoro crater floor, renowned as the world’s largest inactive and unfilled volcanic caldera. Spanning approximately 260 square kilometers with a depth exceeding 2000 feet, the crater floor offers a six-hour game drive showcasing abundant wildlife activity. Following a picnic lunch at the Hippo pool, commence a steep ascent to the crater's top exit and return to Arusha
