5 Days Omo Valley Cultural Tours

Day 1: Addis Ababa – Arba Minch
You will fly to Arba Minch and transfer to your hotel. Later you will visit Dorze village in the Gughe Mountains to see their traditional beehive-shaped houses. You will also learn about their weaving culture and unique traditions.
Overnight stay Wubete Hotel
Day 2: Lake Chamo – Konso – Turmi
After breakfast you will take a boat trip on Lake Chamo to see crocodiles, hippos, and many birds. You will then travel to Konso to visit one of the UNESCO-listed villages. In the afternoon you will continue the journey to Turmi.

Day 3: Karo Village
Today you will visit Kara village along the Omo River. The Kara people are known for their artistic body painting and cultural traditions. In the afternoon you may witness a traditional Hamer bull-jumping ceremony if available.

Day 4: Dassanech Tribe – Jinka
You will drive to Omorate and cross the Omo River to visit a Dassanech village. After exploring their culture and lifestyle you will return to Turmi for lunch. Later you will travel to Jinka for an overnight stay Nasa Hotel
Day 5: Jinka – Addis Ababa
After breakfast you will fly back to Addis Ababa. The day may include a farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant. This concludes your Omo Valley adventure.
