Day 1: Welcome to Entebbe, Uganda
Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a friendly Mond Safaris representative will meet you right at the aircraft gate, assist you through customs and baggage claim, and introduce you to your guide. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel to relax and recover from your journey while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi & Community Walk
Transfer you to Entebbe Airport for a domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
After lunch, take a leisurely community walk around the village, where you’ll meet friendly locals & learn about the Batwa people’s cultural heritage.

Day 3: 1st Gorilla Trekking Experience
Begin your day with an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters at 7:15 a.m. for a briefing before set off with experienced rangers and guides in search of a gorilla family.
The trek can take anywhere from one to six hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you find them, spend a magical hour observing these incredible primates, Return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate, then relax at your lodge for the evening.
On Day 4, you’ll set out again for a second gorilla trek, this time visiting a different family group for a new and equally thrilling encounter. Later, return to the lodge to unwind and reflect on your unforgettable wildlife experiences.
Day 5: Fly Back to Entebbe / Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before transferring to the nearby airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe Airport. You’ll arrive around midday, giving you plenty of time to connect to your international flight.
If your flight departs in the evening, we can arrange a day room at a nearby hotel, allowing you to relax before your journey home.

One has to be 15 years and above to trek gorillas. Gorilla permits should be booked in time.
