4-day Midrange Shared Safari: Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro
Experience the highlights of northern Tanzania on this 4-day safari to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy exciting game drives across diverse landscapes while spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Explore the endless plains of Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, known for its high concentration of wildlife including the rare black rhino. This safari combines incredible wildlife viewing with comfortable lodge and camp stays.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch while spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species. In the afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Ngare Lodge.
Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive in the afternoon and continue with an exciting game drive across the endless plains of Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Mbuni Camp.
Day 3: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti to spot predators and other wildlife. Later, continue with a game drive while exiting the park and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater and driving back to Arusha where the safari ends.
