3-day Blue Nile Falls & Gondar Historical Adventure

Fly from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar in the morning. Upon arrival, meet your guide and enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Lake Tana to visit ancient island monasteries with rich history and beautiful frescoes. In the afternoon, visit the stunning Blue Nile Falls (“Tis Issat”), one of Ethiopia’s most impressive natural attractions. Return to Bahir Dar for overnight stay at Blue Nile Resort.
After breakfast, drive to Gondar, the former imperial capital of Ethiopia. Visit the UNESCO-listed Royal Enclosure with its impressive castles of Emperor Fasilides and other rulers. Continue to Fasilides Swimming Pool, then explore Debre Birhan Selassie Church, famous for its beautifully painted angelic ceiling. Also visit the historic Felasha (Jewish) village site. Enjoy free time in the afternoon for leisure or optional cultural activities. Overnight at Haile Resort in Gondar.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour including the National Museum of Ethiopia, home of the famous “Lucy” fossil, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the historic Menelik II Palace with panoramic views from Entoto Hills. In the evening, transfer to Bole International Airport for your departure flight.
