After a welcome drink and a private briefing with your guide, you settle in for a plated dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: After an unhurried breakfast you set out for Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for a full-day game drive. Tarangire's baobab-studded landscapes and large elephant herds make it one of the most photogenic parks in northern Tanzania.
A gourmet bush lunch is served in a shaded picnic site overlooking the river. In the late afternoon you continue to a luxury tented camp inside or bordering the park, where sundowners are served by the fire.
Overnight: Tarangire Luxury Lodge
Day 3: An early morning game drive takes advantage of the soft light and active wildlife. After brunch you depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands with a cultural stop at Mto wa Mbu, where a private guide leads a tasting walk-through plantations and artisan workshops.
You arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim in time for sunset and a multi-course dinner.
Overnight: Plantation Lodge
Day 4: A pre-dawn departure brings you to the crater floor as the gates open, giving you the best chance to find a black rhino in the morning light. A full day inside the Caldera with a private picnic lunch allows time to follow lion prides, watch large herds of buffalo and wildebeest, and visit the flamingo-fringed soda lake.
You return to the lodge on the rim in time for a hot bath and dinner.
Overnight: Plantation Lodge
Day 5: After breakfast you descend to Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive, watching for tree-climbing lions and flamingo flocks.
You then transfer to the Manyara airstrip for a scheduled light-aircraft flight to Zanzibar via Arusha. On arrival in Zanzibar you are met and driven north to Riu Palace Zanzibar, where the evening is at leisure on the beach.
Overnight: Riu Palace
Day 6: Enjoy a relaxed morning at the resort with time to sleep in, or stroll along the beach at your own pace. Around noon, depart for Jozani Forest to see the endemic Red Colobus monkeys and walk the mangrove boardwalk with a naturalist guide.
You then continue to a private spice estate for a guided tasting of cloves, vanilla, cardamom, and nutmeg, followed by a traditional Swahili lunch served in the garden. After the excursion, return to the resort for the evening.
Overnight: Riu Palace
Day 7: A privately chartered Blue Safari on a traditional dhow to the Menai Bay sandbanks.

In the evening you stroll through the Forodhani Gardens night market before being driven back to the resort.
