1 Day Explore The Majestic Amboseli On Tour Van
Famously known as the best destination in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephant herds and the best views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is home to many wildlife species including, cape buffaloes, impalas, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, and many others.
5:00am: Early morning pick up from your hotel or airport and depart for Amboseli National Park by joining the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway with a stop over at Emali town for washroom break then drive to Amboseli, arriving at the gate for clearance and embark on a game drive. Amboseli may be smaller than other Kenyan parks, but it packs a lot into a very small space. The views here are astonishing because Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m), looms over the park to the south.
12:00: You will enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Hill as you wander with the beautiful scenic views, The mountain provides a backdrop to many fantastic wildlife sightings that almost always include elephants with huge tusks, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, and gazelles. Birders can also look for the park's 420 different recorded species. En-route game drive as you check out of the park and proceed to Nairobi arriving in the evening with drop off.
